(I'm only taking the netbook to Germany. Four days on the netbook. I'll be fine, right? Right??)

Which means I've got time to kill until September 26, which is the last day of my summer break. I've been looking for jobs, and applied to several.
( Relatively boring job babble. )
Hi, that was really boring. I just needed to sort out my thoughts on this, sorry. How is everybody?

Also, I am back in the UK! Arrived about four hours ago. The kitchen is a mess. I hope the roommate will clean that up tomorrow.

If the plane actually goes out, I'll be arriving in Munich tomorrow 8:50 am GMT+1. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

If that flight isn't going out, I'm not sure what I'll do. All the flights to the open international airports in Europe--mainly, Madrid and Barcelona--are $4,000 upwards, and I seriously don't have that kind of money. I really need to get back to the UK, though, because I have a short movie to film and a bunch of deadlines to meet.
Worst case scenario, I'll pay $1,000 for a boat to get me back to Southampton. There are transatlantic cruise lines from New York to Southampton that start at $1,000, which, all things considered, will probably end up being the cheapest option if my flight tomorrow will actually get canceled.
I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to get from Munich to London, but hey, that's Europe. I can always hitchhike.
( More rambling about travel and things. )
Anyway. I'll keep you guys updated about my travel status. Whether you're interested or not. ;)

But I'm fine, just had a wasted trip to NYC. Which I had already paid for, so I'm not losing any money either. Also, a few more days with

It's about 8 am now, and I've got a flight to catch. I don't really want to leave the US, but I don't want to have to pay for a new flight ticket, either.
Sigh.
ETA: The new bus came! Now waiting for it to finally leave. We're an hour behind schedule; I should be fine. I scheduled with a lot of leeway, time-wise.

It's not exactly a very touristy vacation, this trip, but it is relaxing. Oh, and

( I don't have anything else to do, so you're getting an account of my day. )
. . . I will sign off now and try and get some sleep. Sorry for the incoherent ramble. Feel more than free to skip. The gist of it is really, I'm in the US and I will get to see my girlfriend in about four hours, which are both good things. Good-night, everyone.
