So I saw the Peter Davison episode The Five Doctors today. Two things:

1) Doctor: "It's nothing. Just a twinge of cosmic angst.

2) I need to get my grabby hands on the Two episodes, and on Two/Brigadier fic, in that order. ECCENTRIC ENGLISH GENTLEMEN BUTTSECHS FTW!

I feel drunk, even though I didn't drink anything. Too many late nights staying up and watching the Christmas Special, maybe? Maybe. Or just my brain being weeeeeird.

Haha, so this is what I get up to at six in the morning instead of being in bed.

After the Xmas Special I posted a ficlet in which the TARDIS is not happy with the Doctor. And ever since I've written it, I can't get this comic-like image of the TARDIS looking disapprovingly at the Doctor out of my head. So here it is. All blue and pencil, because that's the two colors I had at my disposal.

So I was trying to connect my new sound system to my computer, and it didn't work, which made me realize that I'd forgotten to install the motherboard drivers when I upgraded the computer.

Oops.

The really annoying part only began when I found out that the drivers on my drivers disc are the wrong ones. Damn those internet computer shops selling stolen hardware and including the wrong software discs. Apparently, this motherboard has some sort of extremely fancy sound that starts with audio and ends with bus and needs special drivers, too. I love Google, it gave me the right download link right away. I just hope this will work.

At the moment, my mp3 player is connected to my sound system, which works just as well ;).

I bought my Converse today! Yay. They're a little darker than the Doctor's, but I couldn't find any lighter ones. I had to run around quite a bit to find these in my size - every shop had them, but all of them were size 7! That's too small for me :(. Well, I found the right size in the end, so yay ;).

Looks like the drivers hunt might keep me busy for a while. That thing I downloaded from the Microsoft site didn't do the trick. Why am I even surprised about that?

I also bought a new phone today, because the old one died shortly before Christmas. It's a wireless one this time, which means I'll actually be able to walk around while talking on the phone. Yay :D. And I bought a new mouse, because it's only a matter of very short time until the cable of the other one will be completely worn through. It only cost me 5 euros!

And I'm back home. Yay no people. I needed that.
