Haha, so this is what I get up to at six in the morning instead of being in bed.

After the Xmas Special I posted a ficlet in which the TARDIS is not happy with the Doctor. And ever since I've written it, I can't get this comic-like image of the TARDIS looking disapprovingly at the Doctor out of my head. So here it is. All blue and pencil, because that's the two colors I had at my disposal.




I had to photoshop the brightness and contrast a little, because I took this picture with the crappy cell phone camera, and also in the middle of the night. I might scan this, though. I sort of like it xD.

Hee, I've actually thought about it. Can't think of a plot though, and also I'd probably lose my patience after the third picture.

That's GREAT! I mean it's really awesome. I love the style you've got there.

Why did you think you can't draw? It all looks assured and unhesitant to me from here. Clean, strong lines.

:D Thank you! I mostly stole the style from my sister. ;)

Uh, I don't know, really. Somehow I was never quite satisfied with what I came up with. Maybe I just needed a last push to sit down and actually put enough effort into drawing to produce something I'd be satisfied with.

Also, the strong lines only looked strong because I'd heightened the contrast, lol. Look again, I've scanned it now ;).

And I like this version better - you can see Ten's face better, and it's easier to tell that it IS Ten.

Yeah, the cell phone camera really produces rather crappy pictures. I so want a scanner here at my place D:.

Yeah, shoes are really hard to draw, especially from that perspective. Mine always look weird too. I never get the curves right.
