Right now, I'm not down. I'm about to go on an awesome vacation, and I'm doing a course that even after a year is still keeping my interest. All the more, every time I talk to someone who's not doing so well at the moment, I feel that I should do something. I should help somehow. Because apparently, I seem to have found out about some trick to not be down that I could share with them, which would make their lives so much easier to bear. That's nonsense, of course, but it's an emotional response I have to seeing people depressed--wanting to talk to them, and wanting to help.
Now, I don't know how useful this will be to anyone, but I thought I could give it a try. I'm screening all comments to this post; I'll turn anonymous comments on, and IP logging off. And if anyone feels like they need to get something off their chest, please, leave a comment. If you don't want me to reply, put a note at the bottom of your comment and I won't. I also won't talk to you or to anyone about what you put into your comment outside of this post, unless you want me to.
Free-for-all confession meme; have at it. I kind of got the impression that quite a few people could use something like this right now. <3

- Final Cut Pro. Liek whoa.
- People who change output settings on the public editing macs and don't change them back.
- The public editing macs.
- The server where the rushes are saved on, and the network connecting them.
- Anal-retentive tutors who want assignments rendered to tape. Who the fuck wants stuff rendered to tape anymore?
- The headache I've acquired since I started the hassle of trying to print my editing project onto tape.
MODERN TECHNOLOGY, LET ME TELL YOU. No, better don't. I wouldn't stop ranting. This clearly requires an image of baby bats. So, have an image of baby bats.

Also, the guys who are capturing their footage here are being very nice and helping me. I should mention that. Just for the sake of Zen and Karma balance and stuff.
