I love this sequence so much. It's perfect. I love the acting, I love the shots, I love the editing, I love the dialog, and god do I love the soundtrack. Such a beautiful bit of TV history.
I am filled with love for my show tonight. Doctor Who is just unique. You know how thinking about something from a scientific/analytic/academic angle can take away the magic? Not so with Doctor Who. I can take it apart, I can write meta and essays about it and discuss it in my seminars from any angle whatsoever, but it never loses the magic. I can always watch it just to see the Doctor cradling the Master in his arms, or to see Donna giving the Doctor a much-needed hug in the end of Midnight. No matter what you do, Doctor Who is just untouchable.
Yes. I will stop gushing now and go to bed. Night everyone!

( Look at the cute! :D )
I miss having animals around, and a hamster is not a complicated pet. Besides, they're nocturnal as well as anti-social, so I think I'd get along with a hamster. And I could call him Hamlet, which is a silly joke, but it makes me grin. ;)
I will wait until the accomodation rent was transferred off my account so I can figure out how much money I'll have left. If it's enough to cover my various trips to London and Cardiff as well as pay for the hamster, its cage and the initial supplies, I'll probably be getting it in November. :D
