I did the pub thing tonight. I went to a near-by pub with my next-door neighbor, and we sat around and had drinks and talked. Then a Scottish guy showed up at our table and asked us if we wanted to come sit with him and his two friends, who were Solent students as well. Another two guys showed up later - two performance students; the other three, one of which left soon after we went over to their table, were doing some sort of comedy course - and we talked about history, penises, the third Reich, more penises, music, TV shows, penises, and, yeah, penises.

What I'm trying to say is that I was actually social, and that I actually enjoyed it. It was weird. I couldn't imagine ever doing anything like this in Germany. England is turning me into an extrovert. o.O
