2nd day of the internship. Judging from the lack of comments to my last post, I get the feeling that this is rather uninteresting to you guys, so I tried to refrain from posting till now. But I need to rant a bit.

I won't have anything to do for two weeks. Interns get various duties assigned - like for example making sure that the teasers for next day's broadcast get cut, or that the DVDs that need to be copied are copied, or that the rooms are prepared for conferences and all that stuff. I won't be assigned to any of those duties for the next two weeks, though. I'm just hanging out and supposed to be learning stuff. I don't feel this approach to be very efficient; I'd rather they'd assign me to one of the interns to be my tutor. Because this way, I have nothing to do now, and won't have a clue what to do when I finally do get assigned one of the duties, because no one felt responsible to actually teach me (they take me along, but they don't teach me, if you know what I mean).

Also, a guy from another internship I applied for called today. Sounded like they would really have liked to have me, and that other internship would have a) been about working on an internet portal, which I would have loved, and b) been paid. Pwnd.
