I'm writing my LoM fic idea, and those characters are much harder to get right than I thought they would be. I'm 1,500 words into the fic, and the dialogue I have so far is IC, I think, but to get it to be that way, I had to constantly rewatch scenes with Gene and Sam yelling at each other (because that's what they're doing in my fic atm).

British Manchester slang from the 70ies. That's what's making the whole writing IC dialogue thing a lot harder than usual.

I'll get used to it. I hope.
