From the user info:
On March 12, 2008, LJ got rid of basic accounts. Any journal created after that date has only two account options: a plus account (a journal with advertisements) or a paid account.
Journals created before that date, however, can still be run on a basic account - with limited icon and scrapbook space, but without advertisements.
The idea of this community is that users who own a journal that has been created before March 12, 2008, and who either don't use their journal anymore or are planning on leaving the LJ community can put their old journals up for adoption for new users to take them over.
This probably won't take off in any case, but it won't for sure if people don't know about it. So, dear f-list, if you think this is a good idea, then please pimp this out on your journal. Feel free to c&p this entry, if you want.
Hee, I probably broke about two thousand LJ rules with that comm. Is account sharing allowed? Well, I just updated my backup journal today, so if they actually do decide to TOS me, not much will be lost.

Net Neutrality is at risk. Found this on JournalFen's welcome page.
What's going on?
What can I do about it?
I should get myself a red hat. Or maybe a skinny horse called Rocinante. Soon this journal will be all fandom all the time again! I hope.
