Things I regularly use my cell phone for:
- taking notes (of appointments, mainly. If I scribble appointment dates onto some piece of paper, I will have lost the piece of paper by the time the appointment comes around).
- whiling away my time on the subway.
- waking up in the morning (my alarm clock broke about two years ago and I never bothered to get a new one).
- taking pictures.
- saving phone numbers.
Things I rarely use my cell phone for:
- texting people.
- phoning people.
Things I never do:
- answer it. Well, that's not entirely true. I answer it if I know the caller, and I answer it if it didn't just wake me up. If these two conditions do not apply (which is surprisingly often the case), I usually don't pick up.
So, why exactly am I paying so and so many euros a month for that thing?
