Writing the layout reminded me of a tutorial I started to write a few weeks ago. It's a step-by-step tutorial for writing customized styles for LJ accounts based on the Smooth Sailing style (the style I base all my layouts on). I wanted to write it in a way so complete html newbies and css masters alike could profit from it. It's already rather longish - complete with a short introduction to html and css - and it'll probably be another few weeks before I'm done.
I'll probably finish it anyway, because it's a chance of telling people how to do stuff, and telling people how to do stuff is always fun ^^, but I wanted to ask whether anybody is even interested in a tutorial like that. If there are people who would like to read it, I might pick up the writing pace a little ^^.
Also, if there's anybody out there who would like a shiny layout for their journal - leave a comment. Or if you want a website. I love writing websites, too. I'm not brilliant, and all I can do is html and css, but I like to think I'm not all bad at that.
I can't guarantee that I would get around to writing your layout/website immediately, especially if more than one or two people will be responding to this asking for a layout. However, I do spend a lot of time on procrastinating, and writing code is a wonderful method of procrastination. So I would probably get around to writing your layout more sooner than later ;).
