I've been planning on writing this for some time now. What better time to do it than during the night before my Histo exam? :P

This is how I go about writing House fanfiction. It's certainly not the only way to do it, but it's my way. I thought that maybe some of you might be interested.

Well, this is how I do it. I would love to hear how other people go about the business of writing fic. Do you do it the same way? Pretty much the same way? Completely differently?

Omg, I love Stephen King. I just got started on his new novel, Lisey's Story. I'm on page 66, and all he did so far was describe a guy getting shot. And he did it oh-so-well. With attention to every little detail, but not so it got boring, but so you had the feeling he was putting the world under a microscope, for the first time making it possible for you to see everything there is to the world.

And when you look into that microscope of his, you know how he comes up with all his monsters. Because they are all right there - usually, you just can't see them, because you're not looking into the microscope. But they make perfect sense once he shows you where to look.
