Heh. Just installed a new HD (Western Digital, 80GB, 7200 rpm *squee*) and a new DVD drive (LG, DVDRW+- and DL *more squee*) in my desktop computer, and then installed Win XP (Prof, the one I got running on my laptop as well *no squee*) - because let's face it, I'm just too lazy to ever really go and install RedHat which has been sitting on my desk for about two months now.

My computer is now deliciously fast and has about three bajillion times more space than before (not that 80GB is all that much, but hey, I also got the 80GB on the laptop and the 250 or so on the external), and I can burn DVDs again! Which makes me happy. Now I only need a bit more RAM (making do with 256MB DDR atm, which works better than you might imagine it would) and a TFT monitor (yes! My desktop still has one of those 800x600 monsters! I'm lucky my graphics card has both an old and a new socket *gg*) and my desktop will actually be usable again! Wee!

With all the poking and prodding my computer, I didn't get around to do much about emails/comments today. Sorry! Will do that as soon as I'm done playing with my shiny new computer :).
