Fall Cleaning

I'm pissed. I spent all day writing

layout, and it looks very pretty in Firefox, but IE screws it up so badly I won't be able to fix it. Gah. Die, IE, die.

I went and cleaned out my f-list. Not because it needed cleaning, but because I was feeling evil. If I cut you and you think it weird, please comment. I mainly cleaned communities from my f-list, though, one of them being house_wilson. One more post about Sims, and I'm seriously going to kill somebody. (Oh! No! Wait! We now have a Sims community, housesims! Just what the fandom needed. Argh.)

Anyway. I might wake up tomorrow and feel all mellow again and put h_w back on my list. But not tonight.

Aw. I am shit at web design, but working hard on stuff that gets screwed up in the end sucks majorly. And a-freaking-men to the Sims. I just don't get the appeal, but if they're all playing in a comm of their own, that makes it easier to find the good stuff at HW.

The Sims idea was funny and original the first time I saw it posted waaay back, like, two months ago or something. Made me smile. But then everybody suddenly had House Wilson Sims! And then they had sex! And then Wilson got pregnant! And... just, no.

Ah well. I decided that for now, h_w stays off the list. It makes for so much less posts to scroll through ;).

Yeah. My thoughts exactly. I barely even look at the posts, just scroll through them. So, I figured, I can just as well get rid of it.

Humans are weird.
That´s my explanation for all the weird or funny things I see, read and notice and DON`T UNDERSTAND!
The Sims are one of those things. The Sims as House and Wilson are very weird in my opinion but well maybe there are a lot of people out there who like that????

Yeah, pretty weird. I mean, I get the idea why playing Sims can be fun, and I get why you would let your Sims be House and Wilson. But I wouldn't think of posting *several* posts about my Sims to a community. It's annoying! Gah. ;)

Omg, IE is evil. I didn't know that up to v6, it didn't do position: fixed. Anything else I could have handled, but this? What the hell sort of browser is that piece of junk, anyway???

Yeah. Please people, stop with the Sims already. I'm just waiting for someone to announce, whoa there! My Wilson started crossdressing! *facepalm*

I must admit I wasn't really following the Sims canon. The cut-text "OMG MY WILSON GOT PREGNANT" scared me off for good ;P.

I can fully understand your hate for IE. And your hate for SIMS. I've been thinking of clearing h_w off my flist too, but I jsut can't be bothered at the moment.

Dude, I can't believe you had h_w on your friendslist in the first place! OMG, I'd drown under all those posts.

I will admit, though: I LOVE the Sims posts. The one where House electrocuted himself? Made my day. I thought it was hysterical.

(The pregnant ones, not so much...although the vid of House giving birth, which showed his reaction to the newborn as one of PURE OMGHORROR was worthy of a snicker.)

(And yes, Sim!sex is truly frightening.)

I mean, it's relatively lowbrow humour, but at the end of a long day, a visual gag cheers me up faster than trying to find a fic that doesn't suck. So I've thought the Sim posts were treats, mostly. A few have been boring, but most are okay.

I can understand wanting to direct them off to a separate community though, so I'm glad there is one.

Hee, well, I mainly simply scrolled through the posts without actually reading them. Most of them were... not exactly interesting or high quality, anyway ;).

I remember the first one or two Sims posts. Then it was sweet and funny. But it's so hard to find high-quality stuff in the House fandom, so it started to annoy me when half the posts at h_w consisted of posts about Sims that might have been funny, but actually were getting an old meme really quickly, and besides had nothing to do with high-quality fandom entertainment.

I guess that was my main problem with the Sims. There's crack and junk enough in House fandom! How about sitting down and writing domestic!House/Wilson fic instead of playing a computer game?

Omg I sound like an old bitter grandma, lol ;P. Besides, who am I to talk, I haven't written anything in ages... hee ^^.
