How Do I Do This LJ Thing
I posted my Guardian fic! As you probably saw, since I linked it here on my DW, too.
I don't know what the policy is anymore in DW based fandoms. Do I crosspost it to comms? I don't see people posting fic to comms that much, so I'm not sure that's a thing that's still done. I'm also only following sid_guardian and brush_and_lantern ... I haven't had a chance yet to go and see if there's others I should follow.
As of now, I don't have any comments yet :sob:. Waiting for the first comment is always such torture. I will say that the first chapter is a little hard to comment on--it's mostly just Zhao Yunlan being extremely sad, without much happening. I also expect that a lot of people in this fandom will want to wait until I've posted the entire thing before they start reading.
Oh well. I'll keep waiting for that first comment. It'll have to come eventually!

Guardian has two discords, yes! One that glymr set up for the weekly watchalongs, which is awesome and only has a few dozen people.

It has a few hundred members and everything you could wish for in terms of Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu's works.
I don't interact on that server, but I have lots of private conversations going on on discord at all times, I like it as a platform.

Ooh? I wasn't aware of a kerfuffle. What happened?
I re-checked sid_guardian and noticed that people do seem to post fic there, yeah. I think I'm gonna wait until I've finished posting, though. Judging by the low number of comments and the high number of subscriptions I've gotten so far, Guardian folks seem to prefer reading fic when it's done.
Thanks for the links! I joined the first server. Not sure I'll be joining the second; I get stressed in very large servers and just don't talk to people. I did send you a friends request, though. :D

merit-brush-recs.dreamwidth.org/ is a rec-only comm, and
sundial-exchange.dreamwidth.org/ is a comm that was originally created for an exchange that took place in January 2020, but may host other events in the future. Neither have a lot of traffic, and I recommend subscribing to both!
