Meme!

Booh! I have another meme! One of those creepy manipulative make-people-tell-you-things-about-themselves one. Just that this one works the other way 'round ;).

If you comment, I'll...

1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something. A fandom, a song, a colour, a piece of fruit. SOMETHING.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Associate you with a character/pairing.
6. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you. (Or else I'll just ask a random question. I reserve that right.)
7. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
8. In return, you must spread this disease in your LJ.

(if you want, you can ignore #8 - unless, of course, you're worried the Meme Stasi might get you ;) )

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. If you're so inclined, post this meme exercise on your own LJ and be surprised (or mortified!) about what people remember about you.

Is Travis' leg still bothering him?
Um... I don't know? He's in a box in the garage somewhere, I think. He's hibernating ;)

completely hypothetical and cracky conversations with you that never get boring.
No teeth ;)

4) No teeth! You still owe me that one
Very true. Think you can wait until after my essay deadlines?? ;)

If you could ask your favorite author for your perfect fanfic, which fandom would that be, which pairing, what would it be about and who's the author?
Oh, bugger. I can think of the 'perfect fanfic' for most of the fandoms I read. Trouble is I don't have an absolute favourite author in each of those fandoms. And most of the fics I'd like to see written are usually detailed plotlines that I know I'm never going to write myself.

I could tell you just about everything but the author, though ;)
SGA - McKay/Lorne - Sheppard/Weir/Team start giving Rodney the cold shoulder after 'Trinity', forcing him to turn elsewhere for company. He helps Halling and the Athosians on the mainland build a Roman-style irrigation system, and starts hanging out with Lorne and Heightmeyer in Atlantis, becoming slightly confused when both seem to be flirting with him. Harvest time comes, and Halling celebrates McKay's involvement in the event, much to the surprise of almost all of the expedition, and later that night back in Atlantis a drunken Lorne shows up at Rodney's door and jumps him (eloquent, huh? ;) ). Morning after and beyond to be left to author's discretion, lol.

Most of my plot bunnies have been spawning epics for some time now, pretty much since the days of MW and MVD, and the idea of sitting down and actually starting to write one/more of said bunnies is really rather daunting ^^

OMG -- You have action figures of ST??? That's soooo cool, I habve the complete crew of TNG and some of Voyager and DS9. I've never seen any of Enterprise though, do they really exist???

That is sooo cool! Are they the same size as the old ones from TNG? because for 'first contact' they made bigger ones, so you can't really play with them all together, because the sizes don't match... which is really annoying.

(Ok, I guess I should say now that I don't really play with them, unless I'm together with my little nephews/nieces, but, you know... ) ;-)

I do ;) Or rather, I did before going to university. They lived on a shelf in my bedroom with half the NX-01 bridge, and got a pumpkin for Hallowe'en, and a miniature Christmas tree (I'm not weird...). On my desk at uni, I have a bat'leth wielding Klingon, Trip, and Malcolm holding a scale mace I bought in Germany last summer.

No idea how tall they are though, I'd have to dig one out of the garage and measure ;)

Ohh I wish I had a bat'leth... or better not, I'd probably end up thrashing my apartment with it... :-)
has any one of you ever been to a convention??
