That is a lot of fail, thar.
Today, Period 2 of my first year has started.
Well, actually it started yesterday, but I have every other Monday off, and yesterday was an every other Monday. So, today. My time table said that I had a class at 9 am, which I discovered last night around 1am. Oh well, I went to bed around 4 and dragged myself out of bed around 8. I arrived more or less on time for my 9 am lesson... only to discover that no-one else did, aside from me, my tutor, and J. the Emo Fringe Guy. (We were supposed to be 20 people in that class.)
Alright, so I went back home. I considered sleeping, but what with the tutor having kept us in uni for about an hour in the hope that people might show up, and with the fact that according to my time table, my next lesson would be at 2 pm, I decided not to go sleep. So I whiled away the time till my next lesson, and went back into uni.
And guess what? Yeah. The class is not at 2, but at 4. Presumably. Because at 2, seminar group 2 is supposed to be having that class in that room. They weren't; when I got there, seminar group 2 was just finishing up, and seminar group 4 was waiting in front of the door to get in and start their class. It's a two-hour class, which is why I presume seminar group 5 - my group - would be scheduled for 4.
But you know what? Fuck you, uni people. If you can't sort out your time tables, you shouldn't be surprised if people don't show up. My class at 4 is being taught by Pretentious Mac Prick, and it's on building websites with Dreamweaver, which will make me want to kill kittens anyway. So for the sake of my sanity, I decided to skip.
On the bright side, I bought shoes. Wooh! :D They look kind of like these. (Not really, but it's the closest I could find.)
