Worst is 0, best is 9. I needed 6 to get into SSU, so I guess I made it! :D I'm amused that my worst score is in writing, even though that's what I do most of the time.
I have a habit of talking too much when I'm trying to make a point, so I didn't really have that much time for the writing task. Also, I wasn't quite sure about how some of the words were spelled - I rely too much on the spell check, apparently ;).
Thanks! I'm glad to have the results, so I can write to SSU and tell them to finally confirm my open day application ;D.
I'll probably be at an open day in April and hanging out in Southampton for a whole day. Maybe there'll be time to meet! It's a Saturday, the 19th, I think. Nothing's confirmed or booked yet, though.
If I'm going, then I'd be at the open day from 10am till I imagine something like 4pm, and then I'd have to hang out till around midnight to catch the bus back to Stansted. So we'd have plenty of time to meet, if the date works for you :).
Congratters most fearfully! I bet they are pickiest on the writing test because that's what people are usually best at in their second languages. I know that's the case for me--I can usually figure out a bit of written French, especially if I can look up the hard words, but let somebody talk to me and I'm pretty much lost after "Bonjour." And speaking, well, I can string nouns and verbs together at random and hope the person can figure it out.
I bet they are pickiest on the writing test Probably. Also, it was the last part of the test after half an hour of listening and an hour of reading, and my short attention span was very much reaching its limit xD. And I talked too much, so I didn't have time to read what I'd written when I was done.
Hee, all I can do in French is write. And even that not very well. Trying to speak it twists my tongue into knots, and trying to understand it is a lost cause anyway. My French teacher used to hate me for using English grammar in my French essays, though xD.

The woman I talked to in the speaking test was so terribly British, I was sure she'd take points away for my accent. Lol xD.

All of this is working out so well, there must be a drawback somewhere. Maybe Britland will sink into the ocean in August or something xD.
