House layout

I finished my layout, and made it compatible for IE7.

based on Flexible Squares
tested on a Windows OS with Firefox and IE7 and on a Mac OS with Safari
compatible for basic and paid accounts, plus accounts only with horizontal ad placement

custom comment page | style sheet

(Please ignore the ads - your journal wouldn't have any, obviously. The displacement of the calender in the sidebar is also because of the ads on that site.)

To install, follow these instructions:

- download these images:

- upload them to a host that allows outside linking (eg photobucket)

- download the style sheet

- replace the image links in the style sheet with your own (if this step is giving you trouble, feel free to contact me in a comment, via AIM (teyla86), or in an email (t-eyla[at]web[dot]de) )

- go to LiveJournal (you need to be logged in)

- in the menu, choose Journal => Customize Journal

- search for the Flexible Squares theme, click Apply Theme; then, when the page has reloaded, click Customize

- in the menu on the left side, choose Custom CSS

- copy and paste the complete style sheet into the text box and set the three drop down menus above the text box to "No", hit Save Changes

- if it's not working, email me! :)

Oh, and here's the custom icon:

Feel free to steal along with the layout.

If you decide to install the layout, please credit me :).

It looks good on a Mac running Safari, too. If you wanted to know. :)

I love how the header graphic is "cut out" at the top. Very pretty, dear.

You know I haven't a clue of anything but I like it. The colours are interesting and I think they are fascinating too. Great job!
