Awww, I love Shakespeare. I even went up to Sheffield to see Simm in Hamlet. (Hamlet is my faaaaavorite play; it was even before Tennant did it.) So Tennant and Tate and Shakespeare all wrapped in one, I don't even know what to do with so much awesome.
Have you watched the Hamlet DVD? It was brilliant. You should watch it simply for the barefoot red-t-shirt-and-faded-jeans look. :3 And Love's Labour's Lost was just the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Tennant in that weird blue get-up making faces at the audience and being a scruffy, caustic womanizer was . . . something else.
Ooh, shiny. I am looking forward to Much Ado, even if I am completely clueless about Shakespeare.
And lol I haven't. It's something I'd consider, but I probably wouldn't buy the DVD, so I've just settled back into not seeing it until I see it for like... £3 in a charity shop or CEX or something similar.

Ooh, lucky! I decided not to go to Hamlet or LLL (I'm not exactly a Shakespeare person, ngl) but DT and CT was too much for me to resist.
