Weird Al! I guess most of you know him already. I was browsing YouTube, and thought I'd post a collection of my faves - just on the off-chance that any of you don't know him yet ;).



6) I'll Sue Ya
I don't really know which song this is a parody of. Some independent rapper's, I'd say. I might be totally off, though. It's fun! The title says it all ;).

5) Like A Surgeon
Parody of "Like A Virgin" (obviously ;) ). Some of the jokes are a little lame, but boy, Weird Al's got the moves! ;)

4) The Saga Begins
Star Wars parody!

3) Polkarama
This is actually kinda scary. A... medley of several well-known chart songs. I won't say anything more, just go watch it yourself ;).

2) Couch Potato
Heh. Eminem fans, stay away from this one. This is a brilliant parody of "Lose Yourself". Not brilliant because it's so funny (which it is, too), but because it's so well done. (Weird Al's got it in for Eminem. Anyone remember "Would the real Slim Shady please shut up"? ;) )

1) Amish Paradise
Please, don't take this the wrong way. I have absolutely nothing against the Amish. I don't even know any Amish people. This vid is hilarious, though. Anyone old enough (or young enough, for that matter) to remember "Gangsta's Paradise"? Well, even if you don't, this vid is still so much fun.


ETA: Oh, while we're at it - this is another very funny YouTube vid... no Weird Al vid, but still hilarious.

^^ You're welcome. I love the way that vid is done. Do you remember the "Gangsta's Paradise" vid? If you don't, you should watch it on YouTube and re-watch the Amish Paradise vid. There are all these small similarities... ^^

Okay after the second vid *lol* "Like a surgeon" I decide something. In February my ophtalmologist said that he want to exam my left eye again and after that he will tell me if it need a surgeon again. Okay, my decission is he can exam what he want but I´m not thinking a surgeon will be neccessary. If I´m being by a Doc whatever it is for a Doc I´m really not a hero but after seeing that *lol* No, I´ll be a hero and I´ll say thank you but NO. No way. *brrrr shiver*

Heee, today the radio played James Brown's "Living in America", and hubby and I were singing along: "those are the different kinds of Hernia that you can geeeeeeet...".

Yeah, I know, the Hernia song isn't on your list. :) But it's one of my favorites.

I like it for the usual Weird Al parallels to the original video, they just rock.

And also for the total political incorrectness and the way those 'fat' guys are obviously having so much fun making fun of themselves.

totally offtopic: I just can't look at the original Michael Jackson video anymore without thinking how ill and totally out of tune with his body and sexuality he looks. Even then. It's just too sad to think about.

"forest gump" is funny too, but not that good.

I just love when he makes fun of Eminem. Will the real Slim Shady please shut up! So easy, but still, it took Weird Al to do the parody. And Lose Yourself just has me cracking up everytime I watch it.

But Amish Paradise is my absolute all time favorite. Weird Al should get a medal for that or something ;)
