SPOCK WAS SO BADDASS. I really loved what they did with him. I've never been a follower of the church of Quinto but he did SUCH a good job. HE MAROONED KIRK ON A FUCKING ICE PLANET TO GET EATEN BY MONSTERS XDDD AFTER KICKING HIS ASS.
Nimoy :3 I loved how they included him, and just how well that fit. The scene between him and quinto was just so lovely.

I might join the church of Quinto. I was never a big fan of his character in Heroes, but I always thought he was a pretty good actor. And he was fucking amazing as Spock. ALSO, FUCKING ICE PLANET. At least the monster didn't undress him? That would have been inconvenient, considering the ice planet thing.

From what I know about Winona Kirk, she was a pretty apt depiction.
I'm glad now I stopped watching Heroes and could see Quinto as Spock and not as Sylar. Hee.
Baby Chekov was the most adorable thing ever. He was in dire need of an older sister. They can educate him now in the big happy family that is the Enterprise crew?
When he first came on screen, one of the guys I was watching with was all.. "Did you just coo?" (Actually I waited til he couldn't say his security code right before I cooed. Unfortunately, then it was like a dam broke. The look on his face when he couldn't save Amanda was just heartbreaking. So I cooed some more.)
Booyah, I saw it this evening. Absolutely incredible. Only duff thing about it was Simon Pegg's terrible accent which, by the by, should have been on your poll!
I have been thinking since while still in the theater. Seriously. Except I think I would rather have it as a mini-series because then it would have a definite end. HBO budget, think of what they could do! That and HBO's willingness to treat audiences like adults so we can have all those religious discussions and literary references and *flails* Please please let this happen.
