End of Time Part 2

Oh sweet Jesus what an episode. More coherent thoughts when I've rewatched it, but-- wow. Bondage. Slapping. The Doctor telling the Master he loves him and the Master tearing up and the Doctor carrying a gun and the Master saving the Doctor's life and the Doctor sending the fucking Time Lords back to hell--asjdaskl I want to write an essay about RTD and atheism and the Gallifrey = Heaven parallels. Soo much to talk about. I may actually have to do that at some point, write something about that.

Anyway. Yes. Awesome. I think RTD stole my brain, regarding the Doctor/Master relationship, and Ten's characterization. He went through all the steps my RP Ten muses went through, and the bit of the relationship that we got to see was pretty spot-on as well. Or maybe I stole RTD's brain, considering they are his characters. Ahem.

Poor Ten. He always ends up destroying himself. It was a brilliant story, though. I'm a bit sad that it's over now, but then, I think it ended where it had to end, so, yeah. I cried only a little. I will probably cry more when I rewatch it.

I am immensely happy with our Doctor and Master. And RTD's Doctor and Master. Because I'll be damned if they aren't apparently the *same* Doctor and Master.

Or at least pretty damned fucking close. That part of the finale felt like we'd psychically induced RTD to write and film our muses. Or vice-versa. RTD is making us thread WITH HIS MIND.

I want to send the man flowers. Or a hug. Can you send a hug? . . . I could probably only hug his navel.

OMFG ILU might suffice. I don't know what I'd send to someone like that that wouldn't just be random and TMI. "THANK YOU, I <3 YOUR CHARACTERS AND WAS IN GERMANY FOR CHRISTMAS AND THAT IS YOUR FAULT. SIGNED, ENTHUSIASTIC PERSON."

I'm guessing it's more the give and take. We based our muses on his ideas and made them our ideas, and so when we see what he does with them, we see our ideas in his. But that doesn't take away from the fact that they didn't do anything that ran counter to how we see them in these episodes. I was 100% down with everything that happened.

. . . I loved the fact that, in the last exchange, with the Looming Time Lords, they both knew what the other one was going to do. The Doctor knowing the Master was going to try a rubbish taking-over-the-Time-Lords plan and the Master knowing what the Doctor was going to do when the Doctor told him to get out of the way. They're such kids, in a way. Kids with secrets.

Wow! *HUGS* I remember an entry in which you wrote you don't cry about plots in TV, films, books and now you did?? That must be intense then. I do hope the suicide rate don't grows now. I mean all the Ten-fans must be destroyed now. *HUGS* And yeah I still stuck somewhere in season two (beginning of season two) watching Dr. Who. Maybe I should try to watch more.

Oh, those... brilliant, amazing, wonderful, terrifying, stupid, brave characters! I was so proud of both Doctor and Master in the end.

It was brilliant! I cried. And I laughed. And I cried while I laughed and it was all a big mess.

And Wilf! Oh, poor old Wilf. *squishes*

And... I just... asfgkaä gnadfkaäghfd!!

RTD, ILU!!

It's so unfair of the Timelords. He coulda been brilliant, they made hime mad. WARHG! But then again, the Master is only good when mad. LOL
