I'm not dead! I feel fine! I think I'm going for a walk...

I had the greatest time ever with [livejournal.com profile] neery. She came over and we got drunk and watched the Christmas Special and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and most of the first season of Merlin and it was awesome and like old times and I will MISS YOU BB WHEN I GO BACK TO ENGLAND :'''(.

And I am in love with cheap German vodka. Not that I was drinking that last night, last night I was drinking actualfax Russian vodka, a bottle of which my parents had still standing around in the basement (they don't drink, so alcoholic gifts all end up in the basement), but I remembered that I really do like Orange & Vodka and that the only reason I considered that I might not like it is the abhorrent quality of cheap British vodka. Ugh, that stuff is really rather rank.

My family is behaving rather awesomely. I didn't have a run in with any of them yet - aside from a tiny little one with my mom earlier, because she couldn't resist minding my business instead of her own, but really, it was tiny, and over in two minutes - and they're being nice and lovely, although they are teasing me about the fact that I'm starting to develop a British accent. (For some reason, I said "food", and they all went, "hah hah, she said feu-ood, indeed, old chap.")*

I got nice Christmas presents - books, a game, a t-shirt, ear warmers (yeah, idk either, but they're pretty awesome, really), and tickets to Romeo & Juliet on the 29th, which is tomorrow. Wohoo! I think people liked the presents I gave them, which kinda made me feel all smart and awesome, because usually I'm shite at picking presents. So that was cool, too.

AND AND AND. If you're only ever so slightly interested in the Doctor, his character, and his relationship with the Master (friendship or not), go and read this: Meetings by [livejournal.com profile] daphnie_1. It's become part of my personal Doctor fanon.

AND I AM GOING TO LONDON ON THE 31ST! To meet [livejournal.com profile] earlwyn and [livejournal.com profile] wihluta and [livejournal.com profile] neery, and it will be awesome and fun, and I'm not even that sad anymore that David won't be there on the 1st, because London will generally kick ass.

Other than that... I've been rp'ing! Nothing new there. Might talk about that on my filter in a minute.

*British people, plz not to be offended. It's just that my family has close connections to the States, and we all speak more an American English than a British English, and having one of us suddenly jump ship is a novelty which needs to be mocked, because this is how my family works.

**I know, there was no ** in the text, but I'm still putting one in the footnotes, because I'm just that kinda girl. Who can tell me which movie the entry title is from? (All of you can, come on!)

The Brits say food differently? I never noticed that. I've noticed some things, but, food? odd.

Also, I'm going to go read that fic naows, and I may come back here with squee, because I am BORED like a lot.

Hey! I do like it!

It fits well with my own version of fanon as well, especially with the ESP about the Time fluctuations and stuffs.

I feeeel HAPPY!

Holy Grail!

*ahem*

I'm so deeply amused that you're developing an English accent.

I could use ear warmers myself! I don't want to mess up my hair going to work, but at the temperatures Canada's been getting (and I do mean practically all of Canada - we're getting snowed in here), I could lose my ears instead.

Thank you so much! I got your christmas-card and I really love it. I'm a big fan of birds and I watch them whenever I can find the time to do that. Great card!

Oh and I'm glad your christmas was fine with your family and you have had fun here.

*waves*
See you around here!

Ohh, that brings back memories of all the flak your dad used to give me about being British. Driving on the 'right' side of the road, indeed. Pfft.

Have fun in London! :D
