By the way. I know you have a paid account as well, so you may not have seen this. I discovered it when I viewed the profile of a plus account while I was logged out:
There were ads in the "Basic Info" section, i.e. a section that is often rather useless for people. ("Name," birthdate, contact info, schools.) I tried collapsing the "Basic Info" section to make the "Bio" section more visible.
No can do. I mean, yes, the actual INFORMATION in the section collapses. But the ads? Do not, of course. Which means that collapsing that section does nothing in terms of physical space. It just hides the info. And the ads (which in this case probably took up 20 times more space than the actual info) still push the bio down the page.
Not that we didn't have to scroll past ads before (for people who aren't paid). But now we have collapsible sections, and the ads are positioned so as to make that effort useless in a prominent spot.
...Took me a few minutes to come to terms with that level of epic fail last night, so I needed to share that with someone.
