Hi all, I got MSN working. Sorry for making you hassle with other IM progs. But for what it's worth, any IM prog is better than MSN, so if you got it already installed now, why not give it a try? :D
Okay, so, as promised - pictures:
I cheated; most of these took my mom. A couple I took myself, though.

Me at Stansted airport. We had a seven hour lay-over, meaning we spent the night. It wasn't even all that bad; the seats were quite comfy.

Included this mostly because yay, coat! Only good thing about winter, I get to wear my coat again. This is at the Stansted bus stop waiting hall.

This is the student residence.

The entry of the residence, and my stuff sitting in front of it. Weather here in Southampton is actually not coat-temperature yet.

Street sign of my street...

... and the street to go with it.

The dome I can see from my window.

The view downwards.

And the view of the pretty parking deck. No, actually the sunset is the pretty in this pic - my window faces west.

Me setting up the internets. Notice how there is nothing done yet in the room - first thing I did was connect to the web. Priorities and all that ;).

The shared kitchen.

My bed...

... my desk...

... my sink...

... and David! :D Mounted quite illegally on the wall with an actual nail and all. (I'm not allowed to put nails into the walls. See if I care. This is David we're talking about.)

Southampton is pretty. It has boats...

... lighthouses that look like boats...

... more boats...

... a city wall...

... a guild hall...

... and a hotel flying the rainbow flag! :D
That's it for now. No pics of the bathroom, but the bathroom really isn't all that interesting. It's nice here! Especially the weather. Yay sun! :D

Seriously, the city looks awesome, I envy your coat (I'd be in love with it if it was darker), the framed fics looks awesome, and I'm glad you're settling in well. Am totally jealous of that your new (temporary) home has a marina, even. ;-)
Hope you have loads of fun there! (And keep us informed of your adventures!)

The coat is from my Tenth Doctor cosplay costume - otherwise it would definitely be darker, lol. Every time I walk past those long black leather coats they sell around here in every store, I have to exercise some serious self-restraint, lol. Coats are love.
I definitely will keep you informed! :)

You picspam made me miss Britain. Your campus looks awesome!

I am loving Britain a lot - the weather's awesome, the people are nice, and it even looks pretty. I hope it'll stay this way! :D

The residences are pretty good! I like them, anyway. And the room, while small, is quite homey. That might be all David's doing, though ;).

Somehow, all british student halls look the same. Mine had a nice view on the canal, though. Including swans and ducks and rowboats. :D
Beware the fire alarm.

Oh, yes. Fire alarm. Been there already. D:
