MSN is the spawn of Evil. I was trying to verify a non-hotmail/msn email address as an MSN Live ID. Which works, I know it does, because I did it with my own non-hotmail/msn address. But I don't know how I did it. I probably had to resort to dark black magic or something, because right now, it seems virtually impossible.
Seriously. Internet Explorer, MSN... people shouldn't use this crap. I know it's something new to get used to if you download Firefox or Opera and Miranda or Trillian, but it is so worth it.
I hate packing. I hate making lists and thinking about what I'm gonna leave and what I'm gonna take and how much it'll weigh and if it'll weigh too much and if the airline's gonna make me pay extra or not. I'd much rather just dump everything I figure I'll need into a big bag without thinking about it too much. It always worked up until now.
I changed my journal subtitle from 'Brain and brain. What is brain?' to 'I had a plan. A good plan. But I got bored.' because that's a Spike quote, and Spike is cooler than the weird woman from Spock's Brain, and also because I KNOW HOW HE FEELS! Plans usually bore me to death sooner rather than later, too.
I haven't written anything in ages. The Terrible Crossover Fanfiction Idea Generator suggests this:
It doesn't even sound like such a bad idea to me right now. /o\

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Aladdin and Grease.
The story should use the apocalypse as a plot device!

But the Firefox folder in Program Files is almost 6 times larger than IE's. *confused* If IE is bulkier, why is the Program Files folder smaller? Is it saving stuff elsewhere?
LOL, sorry for the round of clueless questions. Will actually address your post now.

Unless...it just occurred to me that you probably didn't mean you literally don't know how much stuff weighs, just that you don't like mentally juggling it all. If that's really what you meant, disregard the first paragraph. I'm very literal, is all.
I'd hate to be trying to decide what to take, too. My M.O. when going on trips is just to load the bag until I can JUST close it. I always ended up taking an entire bag with nothing but my ENTIRE CD collection in it, "just in case." And then I'd invariably listen to about 3 CDs the whole trip. Thank god they invented MP3 players.
Meme: I got something involving Dexter, West Side Story and zombies. Which is actually...not totally implausible, IMO.

Zombies in WSS, lol. Would make the whole thing a LOT more interesting ;).

As I commented on your post - I never bothered to check the actual disk space IE and FF take up, because I never had to, but IE is slower and more clumsy than FF. What weirded me out most of all was that it actually wanted a restart when I installed it. No other browser needs a restart after installation. (It then also asked me three times whether I was really, really, really sure that I didn't want to restart the computer right now but later. Which is one of those things Microsoft products do that just make me want to go and uninstall them immediately.)
