Hm, well. As an author, I'd love to be able to use comments as a way to tell whether or not this plot/narrative style/idea worked on people. I'd say feedback and concrit are just as useful for writers as they are for graphic artists, but as a graphic artist in fandom, you're entitled to ask for it, while as a writer, you'll probably put people off by doing so.
