Another early morning post

Wow, I just got an email from the Canadian girl who was my exchange partner on the student exchange I did in 2003. Talk about letters from the past, lol.

I was happy to hear from her, though. She was awesome back then, and judging from the email, she seems to have changed only for the better. The freakiest thing is, though, that she'll be moving to the UK this fall to do her MA.

Is it just me, or is it really that every-fucking-body is moving to Britain? Lmao.

Tonight, neery came over to my place and we got drunk off our asses. I also made her watch the first two episodes of LoM, but she seems to hate it. Which is not surprising, considering that I love it. It really is the weirdest thing how our fannish tastes seem to be dead opposites on every little thing, every time, reliably. She keeps telling me that if she were a zombie, she wouldn't eat my brain because it's too weird. I'm still not sure if that's a compliment or an insult.

We also watched one episode of Psych. I was actually too drunk to make a proper judgment, but from what I saw, I don't think I'm too thrilled with that show. Unsurprisingly, since neery likes it.

Around 2, I had half a liter of coffee, because I got tired of being drunk and wanted to sober up, and now it's 4.30 and I'm wide awake. Which is okay, because I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow. I might tackle my LoM fic idea, but first I felt like making this random post of randomness. I also have to answer a ton of comments about my basic account comm, and I don't really feel like it. Eh, best get it over with, right? ;)

I don't hate LoM! I just need to get invested in the characters before I can care about a show, and fanfic does that better than TV for me.

Is this weirder or less weird than chatting on AIM while sitting in the same lecture hall?

U = weird.

I know what the two of us should do when the zombies attack. We should hide away together in the desert somewhere. Even if one of us does get zombified somehow, the other one would be safe, because I don't think either of us would touch the other one's brain.

It probably is weirder, but no, not getting up either. Not writing, either, though. Eeh, tell me again, why do I keep getting into new fandoms where I still have to get a feel for the characters?

And I am positively sick. BLERGH! At least paracetamol turns ded!wih into zombie!wih. And I am grateful, even though I hate zombies.

Lol, I guess we are, yes.

And :(. Stop that being sick thing, it's not productive. ;) Paracetamol is one of my top ten wonderdrugs, though. Together with ibuprofen, and eight others that I can't think of right now.
