Welcome! Have some whine ;).
I'm taking the IELTS tomorrow, and while I'm not worried that I'll fail it (i.e. get a band score less than 6), I'm worried that I'll oversleep.
The test starts at 10am, and they say I should be present at 9.30. I don't know the place where it's being held, so I figure I should probably be there a bit earlier than that so I can find the room without trouble. To be there at 9, I'll have to take the 8am bus, which means I'll have to get up at 7.
Now I know this shouldn't be such a big deal, because 7 is still better than 5, which was my getting up time while I was working in the hospital. However, my sleep/wake rhythm is completely out of whack due to the fact that I neither have a job nor uni at the moment - I usually go to bed around 7am. Moron that I am, I didn't manage to make myself go to bed earlier the last couple of days - to be honest, I didn't even really try, because I've known myself for 21 years and knew that it wouldn't work - so I'll probably get about 3 or 4 hours tops tonight.
It's enough to function on, but I know I won't be able to give my peak performance on 3 hours' sleep, and I really want to do well on this test. It's an ego thing ;).
So, yeah, basically this post is me whining like a spoiled brat about things that are my own fault and won't even really make a difference. It's been on my mind all day, though, and it's making me antsy, so I'm telling you about it. Aren't you glad? xD
On a completely different note, I'm watching Queer as Folk at the moment, and sheesh, those people have to start realizing that being in a relationship doesn't mean that you have to do every little tiny thing with your partner and can't ever have a moment to yourself. Whoa, extroverts.

Posting this because Lid posted hers. Feel free to post yours in the comments, if you like! It's much neater than usually, because I cleaned recently. If you click on it, you'll get the huge original-sized image where you can read all the icon captions and my tabs and everything.
ETA: I didn't make that wallpaper. Sadly, I don't remember where I found it, either.

The less icons the better - is my policy. :-)
