1. When did you start watching?
2006. Way too late.
1a. Why?
I metneery, and as soon as we'd established that we're both geeky sci-fi-loving nerdy fangirls, one of the first thing she said to me was "We gotta watch Doctor Who! It's about an alien who flies around the universe in a phone box!"
2. What was your first episode?
That would have been 1x01 of New Who - Rose, I think. Took me about five minutes to get over the homicidal shop window dummies, but then I was hooked rather quickly.
3. Which episodes have you seen?
All of New Who, and all of the Peter Davison era. The William Hartnell eps are sitting on my HD waiting for me to work through them.
3a. Favourite?
OmgdoIhavetochoose? Eeh. I adore Human Nature/Family of Blood. I also love LotTL - guilty pleasure much; also, Simm!Master is awesome. Season 2 has a couple of good ones, too, but the Rose/Ten dynamics don't work all that well for me. Not a Rose hater, me, I just don't think she goes well with Ten. More about that later.
4. Are your friends/family interested in the show?
Friends - only the ones I met via LJ. Family - nope. Might have something to do with the fact that the show isn't on air in Germany - well, it is now, but it wasn't until recently. But even now, I don't think any of them would watch it. They're not into sci-fi.
5. Which Doctor is your favourite?
Definitely Ten. Of the three I've seen.
6. Which Doctor is your least favourite?
Again, of the three I've seen? Hmmm. I guess that would be Nine. I like him, but I like the other two better.
7. Which TV companion is your favourite?
Hard to say. Neither Rose nor Martha really won me over. Season 1 Jack Harkness didn't really do a lot for me, either. I love Ten/Jack, but I don't really want Jack to be the Doctor's companion. I do love Donna, though, and her way of NOT doing what everybody else does and falling for Ten. So, I guess I'm going with Donna! :D
8. Which TV companion is your least favourite?
Martha. I've written fanfic about her, so that should show that I don't hate her. But while all the other companions are either likable or simply don't strike my interest, Martha has a way about her that on occasions annoys me to no end. This whole responsibility thing she has about her family, and her moping for the Doctor makes me want to strangle her at times. She's interesting, and she's smart, but she's the type of character I simply cannot relate to.
9. Do you listen to the Big Finish audios?
Have not done so yet, no.
9a. If so, which is your favourite?

10. Have you listened to any non-Big Finish audios?
Nope.

Have you read any of the novels or short stories?
I've listened to two DW novels as audio books, but they were pretty bad. They were read by David Tennant, though, so I listened to them anyway xD.

Of the two I've listened to? The Stone Rose wasn't quite as terrible as the other one, but it was still pretty terrible.

Torchwood. And am definitely planning on watching SJA too, at some point. When I get around to it.

Huh? Well, not really. I wanna see the movie, at some point in the nearer future. But that's not a desperate wish.

This is a Ten/Donna WIP I started way back (about two months ago, if you really want to know xD) and probably won't be finishing. Or maybe I will. Don't know yet.

Occasionally. I'm not really good, though. And I don't post them at comms, usually.

I have issues recommending this, because the disclaimer/warning thing the vidder puts in their vids makes me want to punch things, but this is really good, so I'm recommending anyway.

Sadly, no. I definitely want to go at some point, though.

I totally wear my Ten coat every time I go outside. And yes, I have the complete costume and have worn it.

I don't think I do, no.
7. Are you a fan of Russell T Davies?
I don't really understand all the hating. The man gives us gayness galore, what's so wrong about that? I've liked pretty much every show of his I've ever seen. I don't know if I can call myself a fan, but I definitely approve of his general producing fu.
7a. Steven Moffat?
Uh, yeah. Time Crash and Blink are made of win.
7b. Paul Cornell?
As I said, I loved Human Nature/Family of Blood. But it's not like I go EEEEEEH! when they're airing an episode he's written.

Oh, come on. 40+ years of canon. A show about time travel. Inconsistencies are bound to happen. I don't care.

Sounds dangerous.
16. Do you have any fannish opinions that you think are fairly unpopular?
I don't like the Ten/Rose pairing because of overabundance of the fluffy pink in combination with the smudgy emo black. I actually love it that everybody around Ten keeps getting killed. I am not a member of the Rose Army, but I still don't really like Martha. I love Donna and Runaway Bride. Hmmm can't think of anything else right now. I like RTD, does that count?
17. What's your favourite pairing?
If I have to pick one, I think I'll go with Doctor/TARDIS.
18. What pairing(s) won't you touch with a really long pole?
Ten/Rose, because of above mentioned reasons. I tried to read a couple of Ten/Rose fics, but the sap made me all twitchy. That's a shame, actually, because there could be non-sappy Rose/Doctor fic. Nobody will ever write any, though. Not me, anyway. I'm busy with Jack and Donna xD.

"It's me, Jack!" The man pointed both his index fingers at his chest and grinned. "It's me. I changed my face. I'm the Doctor!"
Jack's first reaction was to laugh. "No, you're not."
The man spread his hands. "How would I know your name otherwise?"
Good question. Jack shook his head. "You're not him. The Doctor doesn't look like a..." He looked the man up and down. "A starved ferret."
This is a Ten/Donna WIP I started way back (about two months ago, if you really want to know xD) and probably won't be finishing. Or maybe I will. Don't know yet.
The TARDIS was gone.
The Doctor stood on the sidewalk in front of the house where he had left her and stared at the vacant front lawn. This couldn't be. This just couldn't be.
Well, it could. It was extremely improbable, but not impossible, that a TARDIS drifted off to another spacetime period. Not impossible meaning that back in the old days, a Timelord scientist - the Hermit, he'd called himself, and if that wasn't the name of a dusty theorist, the Doctor didn't know what was - had used a derivation of Fuq-Ruq's Third Manifestation of the Stellar Chart Law to prove that if the Lepot stream happened to be flowing in direct proportion to Kez' particle current, a TARDIS might be capable of traveling by herself without the input of a Timelord.
Up until now, the Doctor had been convinced that this was, frankly, complete bullshit.
And because I love showing off my WIPs, here's a third one. It's a House/DW x-over! Don't hit me, please.
There was the NASA logo in the right upper corner, and it had the sleek, shiny look only the really fancy ID cards had to them. Wilson squinted and read what was on it.
"John Smith, Lieutenant Colonel. Air Force." Then something else caught his eye, and he couldn't suppress a small gulp. "House, this is an Area 51 access card."
"What?" House looked up from the suit jacket that he'd been inspecting. "Let me see."
Wilson handed over the ID card, suddenly feeling more wary than amused about the whole thing. House took it from him, took a look at it and frowned at Wilson. "Haha, very funny," he said.
"What?"
House held the card up so Wilson could see it, and the expression on his face communicated mild annoyance. Wilson stared at the ID card, then looked back at House. "Yes?" he inquired.
"It's blank," House said.
