I love my fandom so much right now, I'm sniffling.
I know, I know! There was so much wrong with this episode! But... oh my fucking God, guilty pleasure episode much? For me, anyway. Ten is my perfect character! His emo, his angst, his drama, his flirting, his showing off, his phunney, his yelling, his - okay, I'll stop here. I like him a lot, yes? ;)
In the beginning, I felt almost sorry for him. Him joining the party and trying so hard to get people to like him. He so needs someone to love him. Or several someones. At the same time. Lol ;). Slutty!Ten ftw! And I liked the idea of the Titanic being a space ship. I didn't quite get why the people on that space ship looked like humans, but weren't, but maybe I missed the explanation. There were quite a lot loose ends in this episode, anyway, but DO I CARE? NO WAI! Ten's Time Lord speech? Ohh, drama! Yay! The baseball scene on that narrow bridge was fun (I should probably say cricket, but I know so little about cricket, I'm not even sure if I'm not mixing it up with something else and there isn't even any batting in cricket), and - gah. I'm gushing, aren't I.
IT'S LIKE THE WRITER CAREFULLY READ MY JOURNAL AND FIGURED OUT ALL MY PERSONAL KINKS AND WORKED THEM INTO THE EPISODE! PEOPLE DYING ALL AROUND THE DOCTOR AND HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, NO MATTER HOW HARD HE TRIES! FIRE! 'SPLOSIONS! FLYING! SUPERMAN-POSE! EMP'S! RUNNING! CHASING! YELLING! FLIRTING! BEING EMO! WE EVEN GOT A TINY LITTLE BIT OF TARDIS-STROKING. And, oh, right. Did he have on-screen sex with that Titanic space ship when he flew it over Buckingham Palace or what? The TARDIS won't be happy with him.
SO MUCH LOVE! MUST WATCH IT AGAIN! LIEK NAO! AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT IT'LL BE ANOTHER COUPLE OF MONTHS TILL MY NEXT FIX. HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE??!
