Wooh! Thanks for the prompt - I submitted a Gene/Nelson one myself, and was all "I want to write this pairing now!". So I was glad that there was another prompt featuring those two characters :).

Nelson is an awesome character. I love him very much in the show; I think I might even find him more interesting than Gene. (Sam's still my favorite, though.) Nelson's such a stereotype, but not, you know? And he's just a recurrent character, which gives a fanfic writer a lot of room to play. :)
