Hee, yes, the more I think about it, the more I'm liking the idea, too. If I were that bold (and liked writing that sort of fic), I might even try my hand on a Sam/Gene/Nelson love triangle, but that's really not the type of story I do well.

But yeah. Sam/Nelson needs to happen at some point.
